A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query under its own rules and returns its results. Henry County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

Henry County Criminal History neither maintains nor sells a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general routing information for the Henry County Sheriff, Virginia courts, the Virginia Department of State Police Central Criminal Records Exchange, and the Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry. Official disclosure is governed in part by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, Virginia Code § 2.2-3700 et seq., and criminal-history dissemination rules in § 19.2-389. Visitor data is not assembled into third-party criminal dossiers or consumer reports, and the website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside companies supply the search-box services. Their privacy policies govern information entered there, including retention and sharing. Those practices are outside this site's control, so the applicable provider policy should be read before a query is submitted.
